Congratulations! You are the owner
of a Duck Daze puppy. Duck Daze Retrievers takes pride in
breeding fine field and companion Labradors. I am very serious
about preserving
the hunting instincts and abilities of the Labrador Retriever in
addition to
breeding for intelligence and temperament. Dewclaws
have been removed and your puppy has
received all necessary
shots and wormings. My dedicated and
planned
breeding program should produce quality Labrador
Retrievers for hunters and families. Best

GUARANTEE
To be
covered by my guarantee,
the dog must carry the prefix "Duck
Daze" in their AKC registration.
If,
before the age of 26 months, the dog develops:
- Hip
Dysphasia, as evaluated by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA)
and validated by a review of the x-rays by our veterinarian.
- Progressive Retinal Atrophy and/or Congenital
Cataract(s), as certified
by the Canine Eye Registration Foundation (CERF)
You shall have a choice of a replacement puppy
of equal value and similar quality or a full
refund with the return of the dog.
Replacement shall be
supplied free of all charges except
shipping. All expenses of shipping
both dog and new
puppy will be at the buyer’s
expense. If the value of the replacement puppy is greater
than the original purchase price, the buyer will be responsible for
paying the
difference before replacement. If you prefer to keep the dog, half
of the purchase price will be refunded upon written proof from a veterinarian
that said dog has been
spayed/neutered.
< style="font-family: times new roman;">This
guarantee is non-transferable to any other
persons and/or animal, other than in the
original
transaction. We reserve the right to have the
animal seen by a veterinarian of our choice before fulfilling our
guarantee.
The buyer has several responsibilities for
the terms of this
agreement to remain in effect:
1.
The breeder (Duck
Daze) must be notified within
fifteen (15) days of diagnosis of Hip Dysphasia, Progressive
Retinal Atrophy or Congenital
Cataract(s).
2.
A copy of x-ray, OFA, and/or CERF report
must be sent to the breeder to be reviewed by a veterinarian of
our choice.
3.
The dog may not be spayed/neutered
without our consent.
4.
The dog must be returned, euthanized or
spayed/neutered before reaching 28 months
of age (but not without our consent).
5.
The dog may not have been bred prior to
the claim, OFA x-rays, or CERT exam.
6.
The purchased puppy must have the Duck
Daze prefix in the dog's registered name.
It is
understood that the above warranties
are expressly regarding congenital, hereditary defects and any physical
injury
or mistreatment to the dogs voids this guarantee.
Claim
for replacement or refund shall be in writing and must
be accompanied by the following:
1.
A copy of this guarantee.
2.
Original AKC Registration Certificate with
ownership signed back to us.
3.
Veterinary certificate of Hip or Eye defect
as
described above.
4. Veterinary certificate of
spay/neuter or
euthanasia (after our consent).
